Changes that succeed

The realisation that the success of Digital Workplace projects mainly depends on the outcome of the associated changes in ways of working has now become widely accepted. Although the introduction of new tools often still trigger such projects (e.g. the replacement of an outdated intranet platform), change management and organizational change are almost always on the agenda today. However, this alone is by no means a guarantee for success – these topics are far too multilayered, complex and dependent on fundamental factors that are deeply anchored in the DNA of today’s organizations.
The interest in this topic is correspondingly high. This was also the case with my presentation on change approaches in Digital Workplace projects, to which ValueIntranet invited me to Brussels on 12.09.2019 for the “Belgian Intranet & Digital Workplace Group“. With an unusually high number of participants and lively discussions, the urgent need for practical experience and solutions adapted to individual situations was once again clearly felt at this event.
